Google Analytics Premium

Google Analytics Premium: Exclusive First Look
In early September 2011, Google Analytics Certified Partners (GACP) were given an exclusive sneak peak of Google Analytics Premium. As a GACP, we were one of the first to perform an in-depth review of the premium analytics product, performing side-by-side comparisons with competitors’ solutions as well as the free version of Google Analytics.
What businesses are a good fit for Google Analytics Premium?
In a market historically overshadowed by Omniture, CoreMetrics, and WebTrends, Google Analytics Premium stands up to the competition with a slew of features such as increased processing, SLAs, attribution modeling, and more. It’s specifically designed for enterprise clients that:
- Garner more than 500,000 page views per month.
- Require maximum uptime, reliability, and support.
- Require complex implementations, including event tracking, custom variables, and more.
- Integrate Google Analytics data with other sources, such as customer databases.
- Require complex tracking, such as attribution modeling.
- Run display campaigns, which are served through DoubleClick.
- Require complex pathing and visualizations of visitor activity.
Gucci, Papa John’s, Travelocity, eHarmony, and TransUnion have already implemented Google Analytics Premium. No doubt there will be more major brands joining this elite list in the near future, helping Google claim a greater share of the market.
